Karoo Farm Stay Accommodation
Marlu Guest Farm offers several accommodation options:
3 Bedroom House
- Self-Catering or Dinner, Bed and Breakfast
- Perfect for small families wanting their privacy.
- Stay in a self-contained 3 bedroom house on either a self catering or a dinner, bed and breakfast basis according to your choice.
- There are three bedrooms (one double and twins), 2 bathrooms, a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. In winter all beds have electric blankets for your comfort.
- Room 1 consists of 1 twin bed (2 single beds)
- Room 2 consists of 2 single beds
- Room 3 consists of a double bed, single bed and a baby cot
- These 3 rooms share a full bathroom
- Braai packs, picnic baskets, freshly baked bread (potbrood) and salad options, as well as breakfast provisions, are available upon request.
Farmstead
- Dinner, Bed and Breakfast – No Self Catering Facilities
- Main House – 2 Bedrooms, sharing a full bathroom (Bathroom Currently under construction for disable friendly)
- Suited to single persons and smaller families who appreciate company.
- Stay with your hosts in the farmstead and enjoy Karoo hospitality and Lucia’s farm cuisine on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.
- Take your choice of two bedrooms sharing a bathroom. One has a double bed and a single bed, the other has two single beds.
- We will gladly adapt the menu to suit your preferences as far as possible.
Commessie
- 2 rooms, each with main on Suite.
- 150 Liter Electric High
- Pressure Geyser and Free Wi-Fi Internet.
- Indoor or Outdoor Braai area.
- Stove with oven.
- Fridge / Freezer combination.
- Microwave oven.
- Room 1 : Double bed
- Room 2 : 1 Queen-size, extra length bed or can be converted to 2x Single bed
- Bathrooms – each room has its own basin, shower and toilet
- Meals are optional
- Splash Pool available to all guests
Skoolhuis
- 2 rooms, each with its own bathroom, sleeping between 2 and 4 people per room.
- Gas stove & geyser.
- Suitable for family visits.
- Kitchen has washing place and outdoor grill.
- Can also be used as an additional camping area.
Zandkraal
- 4 Bedroom house with 2 bathrooms
- Room 1: Double bed
- Room 2: 3x Single bed
- Room 3 & 4 each have 4 single beds
- Self-catering in a 4 bed roomed house of your own, at Zandkraal
(Skoolhuis and Zandkraal are 1.7km apart – located on the same property) - Spacious bedrooms, indoor and outdoor barbecue options
- Kitchen is fully equipped with ice – freezer combination, 2 plate stove with oven, microwave, kettle, etc.
- There is a double sink
- House has a living room with 5 seats and dining room with 6 chairs
- Both bathrooms have a shower, toilet and sink
